about

This is the original changes after I had it mastered at disc edits, and before I decided to trial some synth sounds in the track and place it as the intro track in the album 'Memories of the Grace Emily.' This is around a year before the album release. Originally written after watching a t.v show about tree lopping competitions involving which crew could cut down the most trees. When I began this song there was thought in my mind about people doing things in life without considering the major destructive impacts, and how some would say 'we as the world have changed for the better', though we know not as much as we could be, mainly because of selfish desires. The song has more meaning than just trees vanishing. Maybe more so about the amount of people who stood strong to help one another, seems to be diminished somewhat sometimes.
